Veterinary Services:


      Conventional Medicine          
         * Radiology-regular and contrast studies
         * Blood analysis-complete in-house chemistry and full outside
           diagnostic laboratory with 24 hour results
         * Ultrasound - in-house ultrasound with telemedicine for evaluation
           by board certified specialist  

       Alternative Medicine including:
           * Bach flower remedies
           * Chinese and western herbs
           * Neutraceuticals
           * Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) a chiropractic-type
             approach to musculo-skeletal problems

       Surgery including:
           * Routine and elective procedures
           * Orthopedic surgery including external fixators for fracture repair
              and a visiting surgical specialist when indicated
           * MedRx veterinary video scope with endoscope for diagnostic
             and therapeutic endocopy.
           * Safety: We monitor all surgical patients closely by monitoring
              respiration, heart function, and pulse oxygenation. High risk
              patients are also monitored with blood pressure and ECG
              throughout the procedure and recovery period.             
                     ( The anesthesia is monitored by a certified veterinary technician.)
           * We use Isoflurane anesthesia for our surgical procedures - it
              is currently one of the safest inhalant anesthesia available.
           * Pain management: We medicate our patients as needed to control
              pain caused by injury, illness or surgical procedures.
           * Routine and elective procedures including spay and neuter surgeries.

       Dentistry including:
           * Ultrasonic and hand scaling
           * Polishing
           * Dental radiography

       Hospitalization:
           * We closely monitor your pet while in our hospital.
                IV fluids are measured and monitored using an IV pump to ensure
                correct dosage.
           * We provide compassionate nursing care for your pet while
              hospitalized including social interaction with staff members and
              controlling pain.
           * We encourage visiting by family members to help
              boost moral for an ill patient.
